The terrace was a lovely place to relax and take in the breathtaking scenery, and our clean, comfortable room made the stay even better. The food was great, with a menu that changed every day. Serena and her staff were kind and accommodating throughout. The Hermitage has a fantastic location and views over the surrounding area. Its shuttle took us to the private beach and bar, which we really appreciated since we didn’t have our own transport. We couldn’t have asked for more and would highly recommend staying here.

We’ve been coming here for more than twenty years, and the spectacular views and the hotel’s spot in the cilento National Park never get old. Serena and her staff take care of everything, from the warm welcome and food to all the little details. They also provide a shuttle to the private beach and Waikiki Beach Club. It’s a peaceful oasis with the kind of Italian hospitality that keeps us coming back. We’re already looking forward to next year.

The coastal views from the hotel and our terrace were amazing, and the main pool was large and very clean. Our room was spotless too. Serena, the owner, was particularly kind and helpful, and all the staff were lovely. We had a superb stay at the Hermitage, would recommend it to anyone visiting the Castellabate area, and will be back. Thanks to Serena and the whole team.

We arrived well before the season began, but the staff still looked after us well. Our room was small, though the turret shower with a view up to the medieval town Castelabbate was fun.

We visited at the end of May, just outside the season, and it was very quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful, though their English was limited. There’s a good sized pool with a children’s pool and a water slide, and breakfast was good. Our room definitely wasn’t disability friendly and there was no lift, but that wasn’t a problem for us.
