The hotel sits right by the sea and is quite nice, though there’s no sandy beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, but management left us very disappointed. We stayed at Hotel Villa delle Palme in August 2023 for our wedding, and at least eight rooms were booked for several days for our guests and us. We’d expected some recognition or goodwill. We booked a room for the groom for just two hours on the wedding day, but were charged the full nightly rate, with no flexibility or gesture for the occasion. There wasn’t even a flower on the bed or any small wedding-day touch. That felt far from the Italian hospitality we expected and was honestly hurtful. The location and staff were pleasant, but the lack of care on such an important occasion made the stay much less special than it should have been. We were genuinely disappointed.

A peaceful way to start a cruise trip. Villa delle Palme is close enough to the port for easy access, while still set in a quiet coastal town. Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included, fresh and delicious, and the coffee was amazing. The price was very reasonable too. Highly recommend!

Direct access to the beach, with dedicated service, is a real plus here. The hotel is in a calm corner of Santa Marinella, near Rome, but still close to the lively city center. The staff are courteous, professional and well trained, and service is excellent. Rooms are well appointed, many with sea views. One of the finest coastal hotels in the area.

We arranged airport pickup and a ride to the cruise port by emailing the hotel, and they replied right away with all the details. Booking it was easy. Depending on traffic, the airport is about 35-45 minutes away and the port about 20 minutes. My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary before our cruise. The ocean-view balcony room was beautiful and peaceful, and the whole property felt quiet, clean and serene. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the restaurant food was excellent. We’d highly recommend it and will definitely return!

We found this beautiful beachfront hotel while looking for somewhere near the airport before an early flight. It’s about a 35-minute drive to FCO and turned out to be the perfect place to finish our Italy vacation. The staff were extremely friendly, parking is right in front, and the attached restaurant served some of our favourite dishes in all of Italy. 10/10, highly recommend.
