Casa Ferreri

We only wish we’d had more time at Casa Ferreri. My husband, Sister-in-law, Brother-in-law, and I had a fantastic stay, and it was easily the best B&B of our two weeks in Italy. The brand-new house had everything we needed for a short or long stay, and Vincenza and her family went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The 10 euro breakfast is well worth it. Vincenza prepared fresh local food, juice, and coffee, with so much to eat and try. After a day exploring, she even made frozen lemonade for us when we got back to the apartment. We’ll definitely visit Casa Ferreri again, and I’d recommend it to anyone coming to the area. You won’t be disappointed.

An incredible place to stay, with the best hosts. The owner cooks breakfast, including proper Sicilian food. I highly recommend it.

The room made me feel comfortable and at ease, and I could have happily stayed longer without feeling the usual travel discomforts. It felt harmonious throughout, including the bright, beautiful bathroom and its lovely spacious shower. The furnishings have character and show care in the details, as does the service. The room had a double bed, a single bed, a refrigerator, properly working air conditioning, and a TV that was still clear at low volume. Even the website was elegant, well designed, and easy to use. To me, that kind of attention says a lot about how the place is managed and how guests are treated. The price felt fair for what was provided, and I’ll certainly return when I get the chance. It’s just a few meters from the center, with a bar nearby, and you can reach all the main points in town on foot. The owners were kind and helpful, and the accommodation had everything I needed for a wonderful stay. The room was spacious and bright, with lovely light, though I hope the photos show that. The blackout curtains worked perfectly when I wanted total darkness, and despite being next to the main road, the room was well soundproofed and made for a great night’s sleep. Cleanliness was excellent in both the room and common areas. I use a white sock test, walking around without shoes for a while before putting on slippers. It checks whether the floors leave even a little dirt behind, and the result here was excellent. The white towels were clean enough that I was happy to use them instead of my own, which I usually bring since hotel towels can be grayish, beige, or stained. The bathroom had all the essentials, including a full-sized hairdryer, not one of those tiny Barbie-sized ones I’ve found elsewhere. I also appreciated the mini-fridge, which was nicely stocked, and the swivel mirror on the desk. I need to sit close to a mirror to apply makeup, and being able to move it around made that easy.

The four of us had a wonderful stay, thanks in no small part to the owners’ attentive service. The accommodation was spotless, furnished with care, and had everything we needed. It can also be heated easily for cold days, which we appreciated. We’re very grateful!
