The house is simply beautiful, and the rooms are clean. It’s a lovely place out in nature, with really good breakfasts. A handy base if you want to visit other cities and beaches nearby.

Mary was attentive and friendly, and the garden animals were a delight for our children. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the plentiful breakfast was presented beautifully. Everything felt so homey, and the friendliness, cleanliness, and availability were exceptional. This is an exemplary B&B. We’ll definitely return, highly recommended.

The room itself was nice, but ours had a bathroom outside the room. To be fair, we were told that when we booked. What we weren’t told was that it had no air conditioning, so it was literally an oven. I asked the owner’s father for a fan, and he brought one promptly. Thank you, he was the only person who was truly kind and helpful. There was also a huge gecko in the bathroom. When I mentioned it, the owner said, “We’re in the countryside, so it’s okay.” We booked after reading some positive reviews, but the owner sounded a bit rude on our first phone call. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day. Her lack of courtesy became clear when we arrived. It was 35 degrees outside, and I asked if she could put some water in the fridge. She replied, in her own words, “The fridge is mine, and my stuff is in it, so you have to make do. If you wanted a fridge in the room, you could have booked elsewhere.” She said the same to the other two guests who arrived with us. Unfortunately, they hadn’t even known breakfast wasn’t included. To sum it up, I think she needs to learn how to deal with guests. She has a long way to go in the art of courtesy that supposedly belongs to us. 😔

Mary made excellent ricotta cannoli herself, which made waking up especially nice. The hospitality and cleanliness here really stand out. The information I got about Valle del Belice was also essential. Absolutely recommended, and I hope to be back soon. Andrea
