The rooms are pretty basic, though the price reflects that. The location is hard to beat if you're cruising out of Civitavecchia. Guiseppe and Marina will do anything to make your stay better. Try one of their cappuccinos, you'll be glad you did!

When I accidentally knocked a Diamond stud out of my ear near the elevator at 11pm, the staff got down on their hands and knees to help search. I found it in my handbag the next day, but they were incredibly helpful. They also waited by the elevator to carry our bags up and down its three steps, and walked outside to point out the old town and shuttle. They're kind and helpful at every turn. The hotel is very close to the shuttle transfer to the cruise ships. Thank you!

The equipment is very old, and it shows. Rain gets in, and there are 10 steps to climb before reaching the elevator. Breakfast is very basic.

Old Civitavecchia is a little gem, and this hotel is very convenient for cruisers like us. Fantastic place to stay.

The cruise port shuttle stop is right next door, and restaurants are an easy walk, less than five minutes away. It was perfect for traveling solo. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I travel a lot, and I've never had better service at any hotel.
