The food was amazing, and the restaurant team were so friendly. Tiziano, Marco, and several others whose names I can’t remember all stood out. Carolina welcomed us, explained everything clearly, and showed us around the whole facility. Even the manager greeted us kindly. Everything was clean and tidy, and I have nothing but praise for the place and its staff. 10/10.

The setting is beautiful, with lovely nature and great hikes, but you’ll need a car since there aren’t many shops or restaurants nearby. The area outside the hotel also needs a lot of attention: roads and paths are in poor shape and overgrown, and the tennis court and other facilities seem forgotten. The hotel itself is well looked after. The rooms are really nice, and I even got an upgrade at check-in. My only room complaint is that the balcony could be better maintained. We bought the half-board package, but I’m not sure it was worth it. The food was great, but the restaurant staff seemed poorly trained and very disorganized, though kind. We often waited 30-60 minutes for food and had to raise a hand to get noticed. They didn’t seem to know which tables they were responsible for, and sometimes seemed to hide in the corners rather than take charge. It’s probably due to poor training and a lack of clear structure, not their fault. Hilton should come and look into it.

The staff were incredible, especially the front door team, bar staff, and front desk. You get a view of the sunset right from the rooms overlooking it, and the beach is just a short walk along a trail. There’s an adults-only pool as well as a separate swimming and family pool. The daily schedule includes activities like yoga, stretching, and a pizza-making class. I can’t describe how amazing this place is. It was even friendlier than the Ritz Carlton! 😊

The views from the pool are stunning, and the property itself is fantastic. Still, after this experience I’d avoid staying here and look for the kind of small boutique hotel we usually choose. We’ve stayed in many boutique hotels around Europe and booked this one on a friend’s friend’s recommendation. In January 2025, we reserved a king superior room with a sea view and terrace for September 2025. Our friends, who were travelling with us, got lovely room upgrades at no charge. We were taken to a closet-sized room with a queen bed and a postage-stamp deck. You could see the sea only by standing above the overgrown plants, and the shower was so tight it was hard to turn around. When we went back to ask about the room and whether we could switch, the response was hostile and rude, with no customer service. We were basically told the hotel was full and nothing could be done. Breakfast the next morning was like a zoo, with long queues for everything, especially coffee. The food was great, but the crowd and lines reminded me of a college dorm cafeteria. Update: Later in our stay, we followed up with the front desk. Sara, the assistant manager, finally heard us out, was sympathetic, and helped to some extent.
