Residence La Contessa

We really liked the comfortable loungers and the pool area. The hotel’s location is hard to beat: the city center is close, while the atmosphere stays quiet and relaxed. Our room was well equipped, and the spacious balcony looked straight out to sea. The only drawback during our stay was the Wi-Fi. It wasn’t great in our room and worked well only in the living room.

The location was excellent, with incredible views and top regional attractions nearby. Breakfast was good, but some items often needed replacing and there weren’t many options. The small fridge in our room didn’t work properly. One receptionist wasn’t as helpful as expected, though the other staff members were kind.

We spent a few nights here in mid-June 2023 while holidaying in northeast Sardinia from the UK. The hotel has a pool on the ground floor and basement parking, with the lift going down to it. We booked in the Premium block because it has a lift. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, with air conditioning and a nice bathroom. From the balcony we had an amazing view of the sea, town, and tower. Breakfast had a lovely range of choices. Laura welcomed us and handled check-in in a friendly, helpful, and professional way. It’s a good-quality three-star hotel, and I recommend it.

Our second-floor room had a stunning view over the beach, and the town center wasn’t far away. We stayed three nights for €294, which wasn’t the cheapest, but seemed okay. Breakfast was the one complaint: we had it just once in three days, and most of it was processed food and sugar. Still, it was a pretty good stay.
