Casa A'Ispenza

The house itself was modern, clean, tidy, and comfortable, but the noise made the stay difficult. Privacy was scarce in the small house, and we couldn't properly relax or enjoy our holiday. The man who handed over the keys and cleaned the pool was very pushy and repeatedly crossed our personal boundaries, including with unwanted touching. He came to the pool every morning from around 8:00 a.m., and sometimes knocked on our windows. The accommodation was good in itself, but after this experience we wouldn't book it again.

Two nights here were really relaxing. It's close to Mount Etna and surrounded by nature. I had a great time, and would recommend it.

Quiet and secluded, yet easy to get to, this is a lovely property with everything you need. The pool is fantastic and the view of Mount Etna is hard to beat. My compliments, I'd highly recommend it.

The owners came across as courteous and professional, and the shared garden was very well cared for, with a lawn and saltwater pool. The parking space is useful if you're driving. My apartment was one of two on the ground floor of the two-story villa. The renovation was skillful, modern, and ergonomic, with nothing overlooked: comfortable beds, air conditioning, a large-shower bathroom, and a functional kitchen with an induction hob, electric oven, and large refrigerator. I stayed for a few days and would have given five stars if getting around without a car were easier. Public transport in this part of Santa Venerina is very limited, so you're quite isolated without a car unless you call a taxi, which at best will collect you from Acireale.
