La Fattoria

We've returned to Podere La Fattoria several times, even though we live in Savona and it's a bit of a trip. It's a charming farm, with a lovely owner who's helpful and kind, and good service. Its spot in the green countryside behind Santarcangelo di Romagna is another big part of its appeal.

We're already coming back to Clemente for a second year, and we'll be there again in November 2026! Thanks for being so kind and available, Clemente. See you next time!

We discovered this beautiful farm in the Romagna countryside during a themed evening organized for families staying in the family-owned hotels. The place has kept its authentic, warm character, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the food was good. You can also buy products from the farm, including wine, oil, and jams.

Good reviews convinced me to try this B&B, even though it seemed similar to a Ricci Hotel. Things were unclear, but breakfast not being included was fine. We had a basic kitchenette, towels for a week, and three toilet rolls. There was nowhere to wash and dry clothes, since the room had no balcony or even a tub with a drying rack. The AC was in the room, but there was no remote. I was told it might be available later for an extra fee. There was an old fan, but no outlet near the bed to plug it in. No curtains in the bedroom meant we were awake at dawn from the light and heat, and the mattress was so soft and uncomfortable. If you have back problems, bring plenty of anti-inflammatories. The TV was in the "kitchen," so we couldn't watch it from bed. The shower was torture too, with water that wouldn't stay at one temperature, swinging between freezing and scalding. The B&B is quiet and out of the way, near Santarcangelo di Romagna, but you need a car because you can't get anywhere on foot. There were cobwebs between the wardrobes and doors. From the photos, I expected something quite different; it felt like the place was in a state of "abandonment." For what I paid, I'm not satisfied at all. B&B rejected!
