Dominico at reception and Fortunado, the all-round handyman, made our stay. Their service was amazing, and from check-in to check-out our week was perfect. We’d absolutely come back. The hotel shares its building with residents, and on Friday there was a fun silent disco on the rooftop. We were in the Vactican city, about a 10-15 minute walk from the Vatican, with heaps of restaurants nearby. We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel, but there’s a fantastic cafe/bakery just 20m away. As two women, we felt very safe walking around at night. The metro and bus are both within walking distance, depending on which one you need.

We enjoyed staying at Hotel Relais Dei Papi. The location is lovely, really close to the Vatican and a metro station, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious too. The beds were our only complaint, they’re very hard.

The rooftop area was lovely, with fantastic views over Rome, and the hotel is a short walk from the Vatican. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful. We’ve just come back from a lovely stay, and I’d definitely stay again and recommend it.

Clean and perfectly adequate for my stay, with a good breakfast and a convenient location. I liked the decor and the quaint elevator, and the front desk was very accommodating.
