B&B La Bifora e le Lune

We were so grateful for our one-night stay during the Cammino del Gran Sasso. Mirela was warm, gracious and welcoming, and our group of three trekkers had a spacious, comfortable room nearby in a separate building. Everything was very clean, the shower was great, and there was a nice view from the room. Breakfast was delicious with generous portions, enough to satisfy both the vegetarians and meat eaters in our group.

I can’t wait to return. The views were astounding, and breakfast was great. Mirella is a warm, friendly and helpful hostess who’ll go out of her way to make you feel at home. She can point you toward hikes and other things to explore. The spacious historic building has newly restored rooms with clean, modern facilities.

We stayed in a lovely, clean place with a very familiar feel, right in the heart of a small medieval town. The B&B’s owner, Mirella, professionally manages the historic building that once hosted the Piccolomini family a few centuries ago. She knows all about how to spend your time there and gives helpful suggestions.

The host was very kind, and our room was nice and clean. The house is amazing, with an authentic medieval feel at breakfast: ancient windows, doors and arches, plus a wonderful hoven. It’s right in the center of the village in a great spot, and breakfast was rich and complete. I truly recommend staying here!
