The apartment had everything we needed, and the owners were very kind. It was lovely and carefully finished, right down to the walk-in closet in the bedroom. We were greeted so warmly, including a fantastic strudel baked by the woman who rented us the room. There’s parking right in front of the house. Just bear in mind there’s no elevator, so it may not suit anyone with mobility issues. Otherwise, top!

That bathroom deserves a full 10 out of 10: the hot tub sits right under a skylight, so you can soak and look up at the sky. We spent two nights in one of the loveliest holiday homes we’ve stayed in. It’s a small attic but feels roomy, all in wood, with soft lighting, rugs, lamps, books, armchairs, and little spots to relax. You almost don’t want to leave. The amenities were great too: TVs in both the living room and bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, lots of good toiletries, a hairdryer and even a straightener, plus a washing machine, books, board games, a Wii, brochures, and hiking maps. The cleanliness was incredible, every corner spotless and the whole house smelling of fresh linen. Marco was super kind and discreet when he came to give us the keys, and his wife brought over a delicious freshly baked strudel. See you soon! Angelo and Roberta
