Resort Borgo al Sole and Spa

The nature and location are fantastic, and having a garage for the car was great. The apartments are small but adequate, though the kitchenette is tiny. A toaster, kettle, and a few more mugs and plates would help. The beds are horribly noisy, and the upper level of the convertible sofa feels a bit unstable. Siesta time is a little odd for other folks, but the resort service is simply great. There's a bar, entertainment area, and laundry room. After skiing in a cold winter, a spa with saunas and a jacuzzi would be much appreciated.

The location was perfect, and I'd book here again. We had everything we needed, and the staff were great. Tiziana was kind at the desk and when answering emails. There was construction, but they worked while we were out exploring, so it didn't bother us. My only complaint was that some visitors or residents smoked in the hall stairwell.

We had a lovely holiday at Borgo al sole with our two kids, and hope to see you next year. Sappada is a beautiful mountain village with breathtaking views. Our apartment was cozy and clean, and we loved the kids' and family entertainment. Giancarlo, Giorgia and Manuela were absolutely fabulous. There's now a bar inside the residence by the hall, with coffee and breakfast, plus lunch and dinner options at affordable prices. Enrico, the bar manager, was super friendly, as were the residence staff. Special thanks to Stefania and Tiziana.

The beautiful surroundings made our stay very enjoyable, even with some limitations. The rooms were okay, with basic amenities that kept us comfortable, and the kitchens had basic utensils. The booking clearly said to bring our own linens, towels, and bathroom essentials to avoid extra charges. Microwave and toaster were available for a fee. Staff explained from the start that services and supplies, such as apartment cleaning or toilet items, would cost extra. The property is at the foot of the Alps.
