Albergo - Gasthof Rabenstein

I really liked the restaurant’s architecture, with its huge windows and bright, almost see-through feel, and the hillside view at lunch was gorgeous. The food was fresh and delicious for the price. It’s a traditional Sarntal place with a modern edge. The wine list could use an update, though, and our waiter was very young. He had a great attitude, but could learn to be more welcoming to all kinds of customers in today’s global world. We’re all equal, and not everyone is Sarner.

The rooms, pool, and sauna were a dream, and the whole place was spotless. We also loved the typical food. Set in the mountains of South Tyrol, it’s a cool location, with high-class restaurant and services and very fine staff. We’ll be back.

There were four of us from Ireland, and we had the most amazing weekend staying at Gasthop ravenstein with Rosanna and Bernt and all our German friends. The family running the place made us feel at home, the room was lovely, and the home-cooked food was amazing. Loved it, and we can’t wait to return! Mairead Richard Joanna and mags ! From Ireland 🇮🇪

The owners are incredibly friendly, and the food is great. A lovely hotel, and a good choice in winter too if you’re skiing at the Reinswald ski area.
