Hotel Sebino

We enjoyed our stay very much. The manager kindly let us charge and store our ebikes, which is why my husband and I picked this hotel on our cycle trip to Lake Como. The location worked perfectly, our room had everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. The balcony view was amazing, and the service was excellent.

The location is good, but it also makes parking a real problem. At check-in we left the car at a nearby bus stop in Italian style, then moved it to a nearby paid lot. The room was OK, and the receptionist and service were OK too. Breakfast was very poor, with almost no choice. Overall it was acceptable, but for a personal visit I wouldn't pick this hotel again.

The room felt tired and overpriced, with several worrying problems. The air-conditioning controller was broken and the unit barely worked, so we had to wet towels and lie them over ourselves to sleep. The electrical consumer unit had a broken cover, the safe didn't work, and the bathroom light was out, leaving us to use the vanity light, which felt dangerous at night. The mirror had broken edges, another safety hazard. Noise from the open resturant downstairs was incredibly loud, so we had to keep the windows shut. By 9am most of the breakfast food was gone. We only booked as a last resort, and I would've preferred a park bench. Possibly the worst hotel I've stayed in, and dangerous to your health. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

The lake and city views were great, and the room looked lovely, felt comfortable, and was clean. Staff were very friendly, and everything was quick and easy. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the lake.
