Casale Alpega

We spent Easter Monday here, and the meal was awful. Everyone in the dining room sent back the first course. The pasta and beans were impossible to describe, almost like wallpaper paste. It was a set menu at €65 per person, and even modest expectations weren't met. The strangest part was having to pay as soon as we arrived, as if they already knew how bad it would be. Definitely would not recommend.

A very attractive, well-kept facility, looked after by a good family. The people were super helpful, courteous, and had good manners.

The place has potential and is good overall, but it isn't being put to full use. Lunch was another matter. The staff had no idea what the kitchen was serving. My dish took about an hour to arrive, and the side came another 20 minutes later. My husband's pasta was unbelievable, it was like chewing gum.

We spent a relaxing Sunday with the family in a beautiful place. The staff were excellent and paid attention to what guests needed. We chatted with the owner between courses, and they explained what made their cuisine unique. The food is good, and they also cater to different intolerances and specialties. We'll certainly be back.
