Design Apartments Sassari-Skyline

From the balcony you can look out over the city, and the apartment itself is spacious and beautifully designed. Check-in was very straightforward, and you’re right in central Sassari, just a few minutes’ walk from the main piazza. There’s a very handy washing machine too. Just be aware the elevator could feel uncomfortable if you’re claustrophobic.

We had to stay in a different apartment in the same building because the boiler in the attic apartment we’d booked, the one with the skyline view, was broken. That’s what this review is based on. The central location in Sassari was nice, but the stay had a lot of problems. The tap kept leaking, there wasn’t any soap, and the table was too wobbly to eat at. The place is advertised as a “Design appartment,” but it felt like a flat full of old furniture that didn’t match, wasn’t antique, and wasn’t functional. There was drilling going on constantly during our stay, which made the vacation so annoying that we left after one night and moved on to our next destination. We couldn’t share the five-star experience other guests described.

The host was really helpful, and the place itself was nice. It’s well located for getting to city centre attractions, though parking is a problem.

Alessio welcomed us and was so lovely. He was friendly, always available, and quick to respond whenever we needed anything, which made our time in Sassari feel magical. The little house is right in the heart of Sassari and just right for two. It was clean and had all the comforts we needed, from Wi-Fi and heating to a TV with Netflix and code-operated automatic doors. We’ll definitely come back.
