The location was a plus, with Piazza Università parking lot nearby. Unfortunately, the air conditioning made a big difference to our stay, in a bad way. It's a penguin-style unit with a vent that had to go out the window, leaving the window open and making it hard to cool the room. The bed is on a loft, so the cool air from the unit didn't reach it well. The Wi-Fi was another drawback. It comes from a portable modem with a SIM card, but the signal struggled through the thick walls to reach the room, and the small modem battery needed frequent charging.

Maria Rosaria gave me helpful tips about shops and bars nearby, and I felt like a queen during my one-night stay at the Pangolino Studio. The studio is well placed for getting around the city without dealing with traffic. It was impeccably clean, and breakfast had lots of gluten-free and lactose-free choices. Recommended!

It's a small but cozy apartment, and it matches the photos. Towels, hygiene items, and some food were all provided, so it had what I needed. The main downside is the dampness in the building and the strong musty smell. One night is manageable, but I definitely wouldn't want to stay longer. Such a shame.
