The location was handy, about a minute's walk from Piazza d'Italia and a 15-minute walk from the train and bus stations. For two nights, I paid €93.08 including city tax. My room was comfortable and tastefully decorated, with a private bathroom, fridge, TV, ceiling fan, small terrace, and even a raised platform. There was a simple DIY breakfast. The hostess was superb and told me I could contact her on WhatsApp any time if I needed something.

There's a strong smell of damp and smoke when you enter, and noise carries late into the night. Sleeping and showering were both uncomfortable. Tall people could hit their heads on the mezzanine. I strongly advise against staying at this B&B.

I arrived on a cold, windy day, and the radiator didn't warm the room enough. The bed is by the window, so there were drafts, along with the traffic noise you get in a downtown location. The TV wasn't well placed for watching from either the chair or bed. The shower also ran slowly, more like a foot soak than a shower. On top of that, there was an overwhelming smell of smoke when I came in, plus a musty odor. Everything else was fine, but I'm not sure I'll return.

The bathroom was clean, and the loft room was decent, with the bed upstairs. Getting up there is awkward because you have to climb from the back and can't reach the sides. P.S. Bring your own dinner if you're a couple, because in Sassari you can't eat after 8:45 PM.
