We brought our one-year-old daughter to Rio Verde and had a great stay. The place is nicely decorated and finished, with a family feel, and the team was very accommodating. The food was very good too. Definitely worth visiting.

There was plenty of choice at breakfast for such a small place, including lots of homemade cakes, and our evening meal was rich and tasty. The staff were kind, and the rooms clean and neat. Outside, there's a lovely big area behind the main building where you can sit, let kids play, or walk your dog, though dogs can't go in the rooms. The place is surrounded by mountains. We were a large group and had to sit in the glass terrace; even with the heaters on, it was rather cold.

The garden was so peaceful, and the owner and staff were all kind and friendly. They make their own pasta and other food, and we had an amazing meal. If you get the chance to come here, it could be your best meal and a relaxing vacation. Highly recommended!

Our table, number 13, was squeezed in with two others under a pagoda. With 35°C heat that felt much too crowded and hot. It was a full house and the staff seemed to be struggling to manage it. The food was okay. We were there for Sunday lunch to celebrate my mum's 90th birthday, one of three celebration days. My suggestion: take fewer people and give better service. They could still earn just as much with two extra tables.

The owners are lovely, the setting is incredibly peaceful, and the food is amazing. They make their own pasta and produce. I'm speechless. You HAVE TO visit!
