Casa Tartufo

The countryside was lovely, and so were the people and the food. The hotel felt just as perfect as the weather!

A tidy, pleasant place to stay, with kind owners.

The advice about places nearby was really useful, especially since we went to the river at Cagli three times. It is a rural spot, so getting places often means a bit of driving. Our only complaint was that the hot water pressure in the showers could be very low at times and needs attention. We had pitch No. 15 at the bottom of the steep slope, and the view was the best we've ever had, with the sea visible 30km away. The campsite is small and cozy, with a perfect pool. Pizza nights were fun, and the app worked well, even if some people find it impersonal. All in all, we were very happy with our stay.

Our six-year-old especially loved the cooking workshop, where she made her own ravioli, and the disco swimming. There's an activity each day if you want one, but the relaxed pace means you won't be bothered if you don't. We stayed for a wonderful week and were sad to leave for the next campsite. There were lots of Dutch children, so our daughter had plenty of playmates, and we found lots of options for day trips. We also appreciated the modern sanitary facilities, great pool, bread service, friendly owners, useful information in the camping app, and organized activities.
