I had a balcony and mountain view in my double room, despite being on my own, and spent a wonderful three nights there in March 2025. It was exceptional value compared with other accommodation. Breakfast was simple but plentiful, with a wide selection, so I don’t know where the hostel comments come from. The location is excellent for the fastest lift up to the main ski area. You can take the bus up to Sauze for music or après, then walk back down in 20 minutes.

The food is incredible, and the wonderful family running the hotel will do anything for you. It has so much personality and really feels like home. The chair lift to the main spot is very close too.

We went with my school on a ski trip, and the scenery was beautiful. It’s a good choice for a cheap stay near the mountains. The hotel covers the basics comfortably and isn’t bad at all. The staff are few but kind, just the host, his wife, and a couple of cooks. The balconies have lovely views, and the bathroom had everything you need.

The owner was sweet and chatty, and the breakfast had very good options at a reasonable price. My room was tidy, spacious, and well maintained, pretty much what I expected. The main drawback is the location relative to the lifts and town center: the lifts are about a five minute walk uphill, while town is a 30 minute walk or a bus ride away.

For a budget winter holiday guest house, this is about what you’d expect: basic but cosy, with hot rooms, hot water, comfortable beds, and nice staff. Not much more you could ask for at a cheap hotel.
