The shuttle to and from the ski slopes runs on call and was extremely convenient, and the bar prices are quite affordable. Staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean, and housekeeping came daily. But the stay was only okay because comfort needs work. Our room was cold, and although we were given an extra duvet, the bedding felt very old. The shower had weak pressure and the water kept shifting between hot and cold. The supplied 2-in-1 shower gel was poor quality and wouldn’t lather, so I’d bring your own. Breakfast was another weak spot: the quality was low, the coffee mediocre, and we often had to wait for food to be replenished. Management needs to improve heating, hot water and food quality to make the stay properly comfortable.

We spent five nights over New Year and had a wonderful stay. The staff were so helpful, the food was fantastic, and they arranged lifts to the ski slopes whenever we needed one. Thanks!

It’s a favourite with school groups, so everyone ends up competing for the WiFi. There are board games, table football and ping pong, and the bar prices are reasonable given that guests are a captive audience. It’s out of the way and definitely not fancy, but Erica, Gigi and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The food came quickly, tasted good and there was plenty of it. Their shuttle runs on demand all day and evening, taking you into town or to the slopes.

Ask for a room facing the valley if you want a great view. The rooms are a bit dark, though that’s what I’d expect in older 2-3 star hotels in the Italian Alps and Dolomites. The on-call minivan takes you to and from the centre and ski slopes. It’s about a 2-minute ride to the centre, or a 13-minute walk. Breakfast was good and as expected, a nice start to the day, but the coffee machine is particularly bad. There’s plenty of food at dinner, but they try so hard to make it course that the meal isn’t good. I’d rather they simplify the menu and do fewer things better. We came with Inghams. You get what you pay for.
