A wonderful holiday stay in the Sicilian mountains, away from busy places. The view over Savoca and the sea made for a special experience.

Warning! We booked Villa Sarino Savoca Casa Vacanze from July 6th to July 21st, 2024. When we arrived, the owner was already behaving strangely. We were 30 minutes earlier than agreed, and he started yelling in Italian. A week later, he got in touch saying there was a problem: the house had been overbooked, and he had a B&B for us from July 19th to July 21st, 2024. When we refused, he threatened us. He said he was the BOSS of the house and could decide what happened at any time. He then threatened us over the phone, saying he could come in whenever he wanted, take all our money and Visa cards, and leave us on the street. My wife was very scared, and our vacation was over. We left the house on July 19th, 2024, and got no refund. The house was only superficially clean, and the pictures didn't accurately show what it was really like. The electricity and water often cut out. There aren't even two beds, and the gallery is completely cluttered. We advise against staying here!
