The host was helpful, the rooms were clean and welcoming, and there's a lovely terrace for all guests. The beach and historic center are both just a few minutes away on foot. A really good choice in Scalea, highly recommended.

The only thing I found decent was the location. We were left waiting for exactly an hour, even though the owner knew when we were arriving. When she finally showed up, she was soaked from the sea and wearing a swimsuit cover-up. Breakfast was only packaged products, and the coffee machine's heating element had blown, so the latte tasted like aluminum. The room cleaning was extremely poor too. I'd avoid this place.

We couldn't sleep well with people talking, traffic, and the restaurant downstairs making noise until late. Our room was very small and faced the main road. The hostess was kind and attentive, and the place is centrally located in Scalea. Breakfast on the terrace was simple.

We had roomy accommodations and large balconies, but there were some frustrating details. The bathroom in our room was so tiny the hairdryer fell into the sink. Breakfast had very little choice, and with only two plugs for four people, charging phones meant unplugging the hairdryer and TV, then moving the bed. It was nice in some respects, but not so good in others.
