The room was roomy, and the staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was good, with Italian-style choices, though there were no fried eggs or sausages. We really enjoyed eating on the terrace. The hotel is peaceful, but you can hear other guests if they’re noisy on the stairs because the walls are thin. Its location is ideal, near both the beach and the city centre.

The furniture and facilities could use an update, and the Wi-Fi in our room was unreliable, with the signal dropping out sometimes. Still, the staff were hospitable, breakfast was sufficient, and the hotel is in a great spot near the sea and city centre.

We were stuck looking for somewhere to stay late at night, so we called around 10 PM. The owner still helped us, even though we didn’t arrive until just before midnight. He was very nice and speaks a bit of English. For the price, it was good value, with good service. I’d call it a perfect three-star hotel.

Lorena was a pleasant hostess, and the setting is beautiful. But the service needs work. There was no food or drink available when we arrived, so you need transport to get up and down if you want lunch or dinner. Breakfast was poor too, just biscuits, with no eggs, bread, or juice offered.

A really useful place to stay for Scalea beach and the old town. Our ensuite room was big and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful.
