We were really pleased with this stop on our drive along the coast. It’s a bit of a hidden gem, with a very nice house, a spacious, comfortable room, a lovely pool, and a magnificent ocean view. The staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful.

We felt ripped off and weren’t given a refund, even after explaining why we were leaving early. The advertising was very misleading, and I absolutely don’t recommend this accommodation. It’s a 1/10, and that’s generous. Top Floor Suite Del Faro has a strange layout. The bedroom is under slanted ceilings with just one tiny window, and the bed was very uncomfortable. The air conditioning barely cooled, and the shower recess was cracked and uncomfortable. Parking was outside and not secured as advertised. The place felt eerie, with pictures of old ladies who seemed to have lived there in the past. The upper floor adjoins a sitting room below, but there was no door-lock security. A glass dividing door stayed unlocked and couldn’t be locked, and we could constantly see the owner passing by it.

The breakfast was fantastic, with a menu to choose from and both savory and sweet options, including eggs. Sergio, the host, was great. When I asked for an aperitivo, he brought out a few plates so I could enjoy one by the pool at sunset. The views were amazing, especially from the pool area as the sun went down, and the pool itself was a lovely extra. I was happy to find this B&B on my bikepacking tour and spent one night there. The complex is stunning, the room was clean and had everything I needed. I highly recommend it and will be back.

We arrived at midnight, and Mario came over from another place to help us check in. He and all the staff were very nice. The hotel is really big, and from the garden you get a good sea view. Breakfast was the best part, with so many options that everyone could find something they liked. It already has a 9.7 out of 10 on the website, and it deserves it!

We wanted somewhere residential and a little set back, so this hillside spot overlooking the beach worked well. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. The staff are lovely, and Vitorio speaks good English and is happy to help with anything. Breakfast is from 8:00, with bacon and eggs available alongside the buffet.
