Hotel Felix

Okay.

Top!

That road crossing by the hotel could use temporary traffic lights with a push button, since some drivers don't let people cross at the crosswalk. Still, we had a wonderful time and will definitely return next year. We spent the weekend of July 25th to 27th here with my whole family and other relatives, booking two rooms. From my first call, the reception staff were friendly and professional. Alessandro and Loredana, whom I met at the property, deserve special thanks. After agreeing on a quote, we looked forward to our mini-vacation in Scalea, and when we arrived just after check-in, the rooms were ready. The rooms were excellent, cool, air-conditioned, clean, and tidy. The whole hotel was meticulously clean, thanks to housekeeper Maria and her staff. It's really suited to families, with parking by the entrance or in the large lot behind the hotel. Breakfast had a great selection of sweet and savory food. The pool was excellent. Across the road, the beach has a lido with bathrooms, showers, changing rooms, and a restaurant. On our last day, someone recommended La Vecchia Fattoria, a few steps behind the hotel. We ate wonderfully there, and I highly recommend it. I wouldn't put much stock in the negative TripAdvisor reviews I read, because what others wrote just isn't true. Congratulations again, and see you next year. Bye!

The beach is only a few steps from the hotel. It's nice, though it could use a bit more upkeep. We stayed last weekend and had a great time, so we'll come back. The young staff were welcoming, breakfast was good, and our room was clean. It could use some updating, especially the curtains, which felt too heavy.
