Getting here is a little out of the way, so a car is probably best, as public transit could be challenging. We stayed in the La Terra room in December, and its heater couldn't get the room above 19.5 Celsius or 67 Farenheit, which felt a bit cold for us. The main lodge's shared area is a nice place to gather, with wifi, though it was slow at around 7Mbps. It also has travel reference books, magazine collections, and a fireplace in the corner. The old stone lodgings have been rebuilt, and the countryside setting in the heart of Tuscany is beautiful. We enjoyed the fantastic authentic Italian food. Breakfast included a selection of meat, cheeses, cereal, hot tea or coffee, and espresso for a Euro. We used the large heated pool, around 35 Celsius or 95 Farenheit, to learn a form of water massage. It's a good depth and size, though the stone floor was a bit slick, so I wore booties and ankle weights for better traction. There is a large yoga sala with mats, cushions, and a few Thai mats, plus two private massage rooms. You can also request a watsu session.

The staff were the kindest, and the food was delicious. Beautiful place, fantastic view. Highly recommend!
