We booked through Booking because the listing said the room had Wi-Fi, which we needed. When we arrived, there was no Wi-Fi, and the host ignored us and wouldn't help. Booking told us to leave while they worked on the refund, so we followed that advice and paid for another hotel. The following day, the host either got the Wi-Fi working or told Booking it was working. Now both the host and Booking are refusing to refund us, despite the listing having clearly claimed Wi-Fi was available. The place also uses self-check-in, which I understand is illegal in Italy. If the host had met us as legally required, this could have been avoided. Avoid this place unless you're prepared to end up suing him.

We booked a room with its own bathroom, but had to share one instead. There was no Wi-Fi, check-in was difficult, and the owners didn't respond. It isn't near the airport or Bergamo, either. We definitely won't return.

I expected worse after reading all the negative reviews, so I was pleasantly surprised. The place was very clean, and self check-in and checkout were easy with clear instructions. My only issue was the heating and air conditioning: I couldn't switch off the radiator, and the air con was fixed at 18 degrees, as stipulated. With the windows open it was too noisy, but closed I couldn't sleep comfortably. In the end, I got no sleep.

The room was so hot we couldn't sleep, and the window was broken so we couldn't open it. It might have been OK otherwise, but a bed isn't much use if you can't get any sleep.

It's close to the bus station, but getting to the airport by public transport takes an hour.
