There’s a good-sized pool with clean water, and the restaurant was good, though a bit expensive. The beach is about a 10-minute drive away, so it isn’t within walking distance. The bathrooms and showers were very clean, and there were plenty of them, along with lots of washing machines. Showers use a key fob included in the price, which helps you keep track of water use; there are plenty of credits, so that wasn’t a worry. The pitches were too small for families, even the large ones, and ours was uneven with dirt and rocks, though luckily it had pine needles over it. The toilets felt too cramped to be comfortable. In some parts of the camping, there were so many cicadas that the sound was deafening all day. You have to park your car outside. The people were friendly, at least.

The setting is fantastic, with fresh air, a nearby playground for kids, and easy parking at the Village entrance. The restaurant, run by Chef Massimo, is super. The small clams in tomato sauce and pasta allo scoglio are a must, and the price is fair.

The pool and restaurant are nice, but the staff were unfriendly and the road right beside the camping was very noisy.

There are lots of useful services here, from renting a fridge for your tent to half-board or full-board at the restaurant. There are medical consultations on Thursdays, and a shuttle to Follonica beach too. The campsite feels cozy and family-like, with welcoming staff and attentive management. A special mention this year to the restaurant and bar manager, "Mr. Ciccio," who everyone loves.

We asked to leave our caravan unoccupied for a week and pay the regular price. The answer was simply, "We can't help you," which was rude. They did NOT tell us, as they later claimed, that they don't accept unoccupied caravans. After the owner's reply: we would have paid the usual price for two people, as if the caravan were occupied. The tone of the response here on Google says it all. Just RUDE!
