Hotel Palace Corte dei Tusci - Residence I Tusci

The place was very clean, the food was good, and the beach is only 20 metres away. There are two pools, one for babies and one for adults, plus both sunny and shaded spots. But I wouldn't call it kid-friendly unless your child speaks Italian. The staff mostly speak Italian, though reception also speaks German and English, and there’s nowhere inside the pool area for kids to play. There is a really nice play area outside. I still don't know what the Club Card is for. We weren't told about its benefits, and drinks cost extra, for example €2.50 for a 0.33 coke and €4 for a 0.33 Beck's. There’s also a local tax to pay at checkout. Beach setup costs €30 a day for an umbrella and two seats, while about 100 metres away you can get a lovely tent for €25, with the same beach conditions and sometimes better. The ping pong paddles were awful, just like bare pieces of wood. There's not much to visit nearby except Cala Violina. If your child doesn't speak Italian, you'll end up being their babysitter.
