At 21:30, we went over from the hotel across the road to the hotel kiendl restaurant for a drink and to check it out for possible future trips. The staff greeted us and politely showed us to a table on the “Mediterranean terrace”. Five minutes later, they asked us to leave because we weren’t guests. It’s strange for a hotel not to want to serve people. Terrible staff and attitude. If they don’t want visitors coming in, there should be a gate or a sign at the entrance. We won’t stay here. The hotel’s history really impressed me, and I’d love to return. I spent a long weekend at Hotel Kiendl with my family, and the location, room, and hiking on waalweg were all perfect. The food was exceptionally good, especially the tender meat, presented beautifully. Service was great, and so were the cleaning team and reception.
