B&B Cappuccini

I can't recommend the room as it is. Cleanliness was disappointing, and some things felt a bit carelessly done. Ants came in through the window and wandered around the room. The bathroom had no bidet, and there wasn't even a handheld showerhead as an alternative. The room really needs updating.

We found the bed fairly comfortable, and the lady was kind to us. The parking is down the hill, though it's a pleasant walk. The room was cold when we arrived on January 22nd, at 17.8°C (63°F). After we asked, she turned on the air conditioning, and it became comfortable. One of the two bathroom spotlights was broken, which should probably have been caught beforehand. Breakfast was mediocre, a toaster might help. We were asked to pay on arrival, which was new to us, but that's fine if it's their usual practice. It's neither particularly good nor bad, and I'd recommend it if you're only there for work, as I was.

The clean room was the only thing we liked about this B&B. There was hardly any breakfast, just a coffee machine in a corner outside the room and two packaged croissants. The website promised a homemade spread with jam, honey, fresh fruit, yogurt, and more. At €75, that was especially disappointing. On arrival, the lady asked us to pay without any other greeting, so hospitality felt like a zero. The ensuite bathroom also had no separate room, which meant very little privacy. Strongly not recommended.

The outdoor courtyard is lovely, and the rooms are welcoming, nicely furnished, and clean. We had an external bathroom off the hallway, but it was private, well kept, and very nice. The staff were friendly. B&B Cappuccini is only a few minutes' drive from central Schio. Parking is at the start of the uphill road to the hotel, so with luggage it's easier to unload at the entrance first, then park. The one downside is that you can't pay by card on site. Recommended.
