We had a lovely dinner in the garden, and the whole family made us feel welcome. The grounds, with olive trees and cacti, were our favorite place in Sicily. The pool was clean and really good, and our clean room/apartment had everything we needed. It’s not within walking distance of a town, which suited us, and Sciacca’s supermarkets are just 15 minutes away.
Our five-year-old daughter didn’t want to leave. The place sits beautifully among olive and orange trees, and the blooming orange blossoms smelled wonderful. Breakfast was really good, with delicious coffee and cake, plus fruit and jams grown locally. Thanks to the owners for a lovely Easter stay. Grazie!
I had five beautiful days in Montalbano. Pierro and his family do a wonderful job. I appreciate all your hard work and wish you a successful business and a good harvest.
It’s a green little oasis, though quite far from everything. The family owners are friendly, the rooms are clean with bathrooms and air conditioning, and the local-ingredient cooking is excellent, if a bit pricey. The accommodation itself is affordable and fairly priced. Seems especially good for motorcyclists. Recommended.
The owners gave us a very warm welcome at this peaceful spot, about 15 minutes from Sciacca. It’s a farm focused mainly on citrus and olives, and the blossoms in spring smell magnificent. There’s a large pool, though it was too cold for us to use it. Breakfast was homemade, generous, and superb.
