Torre Raganella

The first shower I took after arriving flooded the bathroom because the drain was blocked. The kitchen was basically a cabinet about a meter wide, and it held dirty cups and other items left by someone else. The fridge was covered in about a centimeter of mold, and the whole place was filthy, with insects everywhere and cobwebs throughout. Several lights didn't work, and neither did the coffee machine. I told the owner, but he only came two days later to clear the shower drain and replace the machine. He didn't clean anything, so the moldy fridge and general dirt were still there. The linens and towels were never changed, and after one use the shower mat had turned black from the dirty floor. I wasn't given an invoice when I paid or even after I asked for one. There was no air conditioning, so I had to sleep with the windows open; the room's inside shutters couldn't stop the sun hitting my bed from 5:30 in the morning. This was the worst rental I've ever had. We left two days early, and although we'd let them know, nobody came to see us off.
