The location was a real plus, right in the center, with a bus stop just outside on Piazza Italia. I stayed at B and B Conte Ruggero from May 30th to June 2nd, and found it comfortable, relaxing and reasonably priced. My continental breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I had some lovely conversations in English and in my very basic Italian. My room, Sala Margharita, was spacious and airy, with a magnificent ceiling, a small en-suite bathroom and a lovely balcony looking onto a side street. It's a beautiful B and B in magnificent Scicli. I'd recommend it and will definitely be back! Con {Dublin}

Right on the main Piazza, this is a perfect location. The building is truly beautiful, more like a castle than a B&B, and you can feel its deep history throughout this superb accommodation. Absolutely recommend it.

The building is beautiful and unique, and there's a vintage Rolls Royce parked in the courtyard. But the atmosphere was unimaginably cold, including the welcome. We had thought about staying a few more days, then changed our minds over breakfast. It wasn't appealing: just toast and packaged pastries, with no bread. It was truly the worst breakfast on an island where breakfast is usually a feast. Being out of season doesn't excuse the chilly welcome and poor breakfast, especially at a price that isn't cheap.

We had an unforgettable holiday in beautiful, welcoming Scicli. The B&B is in the historic center and has paid parking. The frescoed rooms make you feel transported to another time, and the staff were courteous and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with distinctive local desserts that are Mr. Iacono's pride.
