Casa Sicilia - Sicily Beach Guest House

We stayed for a month, working remotely and slipping off to the beach during breaks. The house worked just as well for a longer stay as for a short one, and it’s clean, lovely, and convenient. The sandy beach goes on and on in both directions, just a few steps away. Maurizio and his casa are a great choice. If you’ve found this listing, go ahead and book it.

We stayed on the second floor for a month in September and October, and the apartment was even more spacious than we expected. It’s quiet here, with the sea a few minutes away on foot and shops and cafés about a ten-minute walk away. The beach is sandy and the water was clean and pleasant. There’s lots of room, a large kitchen with a stove, fridge, pots and dishes, and two shower rooms. The beds were comfortable, the internet was steady with two connection points, and the air conditioners in every room worked well. We also had a washing machine, iron and drying rack, plus secure parking. It really has what you need for a longer stay. Maurizio lives downstairs and was attentive whenever we had a question. He helped with car-related matters, quickly sorted out a small water-heater problem, and suggested places to visit on the island. He even treated us to homemade pasta. We still had full privacy despite sharing the house. He’d also left discount business cards for places around the area, and they led us to some of the best and tastiest spots. For the price, it’s more than great. We’d happily stay again and recommend it for a long visit if you want to feel at home.

The open, enormous beach was lovely for long walks with our family and our dog Mia 🐶, and the sunsets over the water were some of the best we’ve ever seen. Donnalucata itself felt quiet, genuine, and relaxing. The vacation home was cozy and meticulously cared for, and its location made it easy to get to the beach while enjoying the calm. Maurizio was so kind and helpful that we felt at home right away. We had an unforgettable holiday and would wholeheartedly recommend the place for a restorative stay in Sicily. We’ll definitely return!

We had a really lovely summer holiday here. The house was welcoming, well cared for, and had what we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. It’s close to the main services, and the sea is just a short walk away. Maurizio was always very kind and ready to help, with useful advice that made our stay even more comfortable. The location also worked well for exploring Sicilian Baroque towns: Noto, Scicli, Ragusa Ibla and Modica were all easy to reach. A very positive experience, with the beach nearby and a chance to see the area.
