The beach is huge, clean, and right outside, so the kids could run around while we sat with a coffee and sand between our toes. It's a lovely place to slow down and relax. The accommodation is basic, but it has what you need. You'll need a car to shop or go on day trips.

We ended up cancelling and finding somewhere else. We'd booked an apartment with a sea view, but the owner suddenly said we would get a top-floor place without one at the price we'd agreed on. Then they wanted us to pay more for the view we had booked. I felt completely ripped off. Booking.com should make it clear what the price covers; getting a private message saying, "No, you're not getting a sea view for that price," was outrageous and unprofessional. What a shame.

I spent two weeks here in May, and the quiet setting made it easy to unwind. My apartment was in the attic, above the ground and first floors. From there, the open sea view was priceless, with lovely sunrises, many intense sunsets, and the soft sound of the sea at night. The beach is just a minute from the main entrance. The house had everything I needed, and the owners were always helpful, ready with advice as well. There is private parking behind the building, and bikes are available. I'd definitely come back, it's a perfect beach house.

We had breakfast on the front patio and watched some breathtaking sunsets. The apartment was simple but practical, and spotlessly clean. The location and view were wonderful.
