Il Giardino Damare

The terrace dinners at sunset were unforgettable during my late September vacation in this seafront apartment. The apartment was clean and well equipped, and the owners, Salvino and Antonella, were kind, helpful, and discreet. My only complaint is that the rooms have no windows facing outside, opening instead onto a spacious internal corridor. That wasn’t a big deal for me, since I spent my days at the beach or visiting the wonderful sites of Baroque Sicily. You do need a car. Recommended.

The sea is right outside, so you can drift off listening to the waves. We stayed in the top-floor apartment for a week, while our friends had the first-floor one. Both were spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed. The terraces are wonderful, with a direct view of the sea and beach. We ate outside at least once a day and lounged in the sun, even though it was the end of October. Antonella and Salvino made sure we were comfortable and were lovely hosts. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely return. Thanks to you both!

The sea view was breathtaking, and getting down to the beach was easy. We spent a peaceful, relaxing week there in September. The apartment was spotless, with modern new furnishings and every comfort. Salvino and Antonella made the week unforgettable. We'll definitely come back.

We'd gladly return. The owners were so friendly and always ready to help, and the apartment had everything we needed: a washing machine, dishwasher, modern stove, air conditioning and a lovely terrace. We spent nine days feeling like we were in paradise, with a great sea view, a long beach that's good for children, and little shops within walking distance.
