Margherita was lovely, easy to reach, and extremely helpful. Great accommodation, I really recommend it, 10/10.

We especially liked the room with the bathroom in the tower. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was generous, with delicious homemade food. The owner made us feel very welcome. The agriturismo is easy to reach but still surrounded by woods and nature between Tagliacozzo and La Scurcola. A really delightful find.

The stay was so relaxing that we were glad we found the place, even though we’d only stumbled across it on Booking while looking for somewhere to sleep during a local festival. Everywhere else was full. It’s also a farmhouse, so you can book lunch or dinner, but you need to do that at least two days ahead. The sites were late getting that key detail to us. Next time we’ll try the food too. For booking, it’s better to contact the owner’s cell number listed on Google, and book a little ahead since last-minute luck isn’t guaranteed. We’ll come back as soon as we can. It’s exactly 5 km from Tagliacozzo, where we have friends, and the quality for the price beats the comforts of a luxury hotel. We spent the week of Ferragosto here as a family and loved meeting Sally the mare, the goats, the mule, and the ponies who live on the property. Casaletto is tucked into the Marsica countryside, with a relaxed feel and plenty of nature to discover. Mrs. Margherita is warm, friendly, and professional, and takes such good care of her guests. The rooms, service, and housekeeping were excellent. Breakfast was generous and homemade, served on the lovely veranda. Mrs. Margherita and her staff also prepare lunch and dinner there.
