Really, really good place. Taking one star off because it's up three flights of stairs. Also, remember that children aren't allowed.

We spent sunny hours tanning on the terrace, which had a splendid view of Mount Vesuvius and a water-cooled shower. The apartment was spotless, and the staff were wonderful, helping us from our first day to our last with ideas about what to do and where to go whenever we weren't sure. Sorrento's main square is a minute away, the train station is five minutes away, and the elevator down to the port or beach resorts takes five minutes to reach. A charming place we'd recommend to anyone staying in Sorrento.
