We spent our mini honeymoon here and loved it. The photos don't show how cool and chic the place really is. The whole village is the hotel, with a great restaurant, pool, spa, and lots of little art galleries, all set in the Umbrian hills. It was perfect for unwinding, and the price was fantastic. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, though Puma, the little black cat, was our favorite. Don't hesitate, just book.

We stayed four nights and would happily return. It's a little off the beaten track, but the village's historic character and the care taken to preserve it made the stay special. The pool was great, and the staff were kind, warm, and wonderful from beginning to end.

The old village setting is really unusual, and the hotel has lovely exhibitions. We also got to hear a beautiful piano concert they hosted in the church on the estate. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the welcome was warm all the way from reception to room service. There are quite a lot of stairs, so it may not suit guests with mobility problems. There's no air conditioning. The weather was kind to us, so I can't say how comfortable it would be in very hot or cold conditions.

A magical hotel in the heart of Umbria, with a charming staff who are helpful and caring. Our accommodation felt more like a small apartment than a suite, and every little detail had been considered. Breakfast was delicious, well put together, and generous enough. There's also a restaurant on site serving a high-quality fine dining dinner.
