My children had room to roam and felt safe, since everything was close together. The village also has a lovely playground. The sea is beautiful and only a few metres away, reached by crossing the pine forest, where there are around 10 or 11 hammocks. More would be useful, since they weren’t always free when we wanted one. The pool is looked after and not bad, but I found it small and think it needs renovation. Cleanliness, food, and entertainment were all top notch, 10+. The kitchen and waiting staff were kind and attentive, and drinks, coffee, and ice cream at the bar were fairly priced, like at home. Some room types have very small bathrooms, though ours was well kept and recently renovated. The evening shows kept getting better, thanks to head entertainer Gianni Musone and the whole young, energetic, engaging team. For trips beyond the village, Le Castella and Soverato are about a half hour away by car, and worth the drive. We didn’t manage to stop at the fairytale village, but that would be worth a quick visit too.

The entertainment team made things fun and relaxed for the whole family. They were young, engaging, and never pushy. My son has special needs, and everyone treated him with real respect and attention. The staff were also incredibly kind and helpful with our adorable Pekingese. We spent a week here with my family and had a fantastic time. The food was excellent, with a great variety, and the resort sits beside a beautiful, clean sea. The custard tarts were spectacular too, a real treat. I’d happily recommend it for a relaxing family holiday with pets, and we’ll definitely come back.

The restaurant was clean, the food was good, and the waiters were lovely, always smiling and kind. The maitre d' was fantastic with every request we had for the children. The entertainment staff, Isabella, Emanuele, Salvo, Bruna and Angela, were wonderful and really engaging. We stayed at the Sirio Village in the first week of September with family and friends. It’s a clean three-star resort, and the sea and beach are beautiful, just a short walk through the pine trees. Our quadruple room was much too small for four. We had to pile our full suitcases on chairs and keep moving them to get our clothes. The bathroom was cramped too, and the room felt damp enough that clothes left on the chairs got wet. Room cleaning left a lot to be desired. Towels were changed only once a week, on Wednesdays, and sheets weren’t changed unless we paid extra. The cleaning ladies said, "This isn't a 5-star establishment." Well, you get what you pay for.
