My mother and I spent two nights at Hotel Cir in September. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable, and the hotel is a handy base for exploring the towns and sights around the valley. But the setting is what stays with me. I’ve rarely experienced a place with a better mountain location. To get closer, you’d have to sleep at a summit refugio.

The views are breathtaking from both sides of the hotel, and the surrounding nature is stunning. The staff were welcoming from the moment we arrived and made us feel at home throughout our stay. We’ll definitely return. If you’re visiting the Dolomites, this is a perfect place to stay.

We visited in summer and found a pretty hotel in a beautiful setting with great staff. There’s a lot of bicycle traffic around in summer.

The food was a real highlight for the whole family, kids included. It was delicious, varied and beautifully presented. The reception was warm, and the whole team was friendly and attentive, making us feel at home. The setting and mountain views are stunning, and the ski-in, ski-out access is perfect, with slopes close by and the hotel right in the heart of Selaronda. Hotel Cir exceeded all our expectations for a ski holiday. We can’t wait to come back.

The rooms are on the small side, but you’re only sleeping there. We enjoyed some lovely walks, the delicious buffet breakfast and the tasty three-course dinner both nights. All the staff gave us lovely service. It’s a great hotel in a beautiful location, and we’ll definitely return when we’re back in the Dolomites.
