Hotel Comploj

The family were very attentive to us, and Patrick sorted out all our problems quickly. We had half board and really enjoyed the excellent food, as well as the luxurious spa. A wonderful, welcoming hotel. We hope to visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay and would return. The hotel is adults only, with free parking and a generous, delicious breakfast. There are restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. It’s close to lots of hiking trails and chairlifts, but doesn’t feel overly touristy. We also got a Südtirol Guest Pass for local buses, which was extremely useful for nearby attractions such as Ortisei, where parking is very limited. Our superior rustic room was spacious and had a gorgeous, unobstructed view of the woods and mountains, so the extra cost was worth it. The spa was wonderful, open from 4-7 pm, with several kinds of sauna, a large jacuzzi, steam bath, relaxation room and lots of garden sunbeds with lovely views. A few things could be better: I wish there had been a mini fridge or bar in the room. The WiFi was slow and unreliable, and the floor motion sensors didn’t work properly in the evenings, so the stairs were difficult to climb in complete darkness. The staff could smile a bit more.

One of the best hotel stays we’ve had. Patrick and his family had clearly put care into every detail. The rooms were fantastic and renovated, and so were the food and spa. We’ll be back!

The snow path right up to the hotel was a real highlight. We could ski almost to the entrance, and they even drove us to the gondola. The Comploj family made us feel welcome from the start, showing us around before breakfast and asking when we wanted to head out skiing. Our room was clean and tidy, and the spa smelled wonderful all the way down the hallway. We’d absolutely recommend it.
