I'm not sure how this place gets 5 stars. Breakfast was mediocre, and reaching the pool meant walking across the road through animal feces. The house has four rooms under one roof, so there's no privacy unless you rent the whole place. We would never return here.

I loved how peaceful and clean it was. The setting is beautiful, and those sunsets were amazing.

The beds were really comfortable, and the views were incredible. Such a fantastic place for a group to rent!

The owner was so kind and helpful, and the price felt very fair. We had plenty of room, with four huge bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a central living room, fully equipped kitchen, and fireplace. There's private parking and a garden terrace with wide views, a great spot for breakfast outside when it's warm. The veranda has a BBQ and firewood, just right for cooking a Florentine steak with friends. The farmhouse seems to have been renovated recently and sits on a ridge overlooking both valleys. Getting there takes a bit of a drive, but the quiet, the starry sky in the dark valley, and the chance to stay near Saturnia made it worthwhile.
