Country House Sant'angelo

We spent our holiday there last week, and it's somewhere we'd happily return to. The pool in the lower part of the farmhouse was very well kept, with that same untouched natural landscape all around it. The whole place is lovely and peaceful, surrounded by greenery. Pamela greeted us warmly and showed us to our apartment overlooking the inner courtyard. It was charming, well cared for, and had everything we needed for an easy, relaxing stay. Getting there along a pretty little road, between fields of sunflowers and wheat, is part of the experience. During the aratuara season, the fields look like a painting. Nature is everywhere: when we opened the shutters in the morning, cute geckos scurried away. We got into the habit of saying hello to Peppa the black pig and the chickens, always hoping for leftovers. Country House Sant'Angelo is a place to recommend. Thank you, Pamela, and thanks to your whole family for everything.

It takes about 10 minutes to get to the sea, and the location is handy for sightseeing. Parking and Wi-Fi are included. The apartments come in different sizes depending on the family, and there's a shared fireplace for grilling. The pool was well maintained, there are games for children, and the hosts are very kind. We loved how peaceful it was.

The host is discreet, available, and ready to sort out any problems. There's lots of outdoor space, a pool, and games for children, all in a very quiet spot. It's a great location if you want the calm of the countryside while staying fairly close to the sea. Still, the place seems a bit neglected, from the apartment cleaning to the way the shared spaces are managed. It has a lot of potential and could be much better cared for. That would make it worth five stars!

I spent the first two weeks of August here, and it really is a special place. The setting on a hillside among other hills is quiet, restful, and inspiring, with an exceptional view. At night, the sky is the only light you see. During the day there's a pool, a barbecue, chickens, piglets, and other animals. Guests have their own separate private spaces, so you don't have to worry about being watched or overheard. Pamela, the host, is exceptional. I'd highly recommend a visit in a small group.
