It’s a lovely, quiet area, with stores close by, and the house and host were wonderful. The bikes for rent were a highlight for us. We’ll definitely stay again on our next visit.

They were already full when I wanted to book a stay there.

We stopped for one night with my girlfriend. The house is in a fairly quiet spot at the end of a cul-de-sac, with parking out front. Our ground-floor room was between the kitchen and bathroom, and it was clean and air-conditioned. We didn’t use the kitchen. The bathroom has a tub with a shower and a washing machine, though I’m not sure if guests are meant to use it. Everything was fine apart from the toilet flush, which can be hard to operate. Towels in both large and small sizes were provided, and there’s a little courtyard behind the house with a sink, clotheslines, and clothespins. The main drawback was noise carrying easily: the original interior doors are thin, as are the walls. If someone uses the bathroom at night, it can wake you, partly because the door is a bit stiff, partly because the flush is loud, and partly because some guests aren’t careful about noise. The owner was always very kind and helpful. I’m sure those issues will be sorted out in time, but his kindness is what I’ll remember.
