Hotel Argentina

We had a great time and would gladly stay here again. The staff were very friendly and made a real effort to prepare a lactose-free menu for my wife. Meals were generous and excellent, with lovely homemade food. Full and half board come with four-course dinners including wine and water, and breakfast was good too. If you want to eat well, this is the place.

The staff were nice, though the person running the place, or at least I think that was their role, came across as a bit rude and impolite to me. The rooms were tiny, and the bathroom was beyond reproach. My companions complained about dirty sheets and strange stains all over the bed, and the place felt very dirty. Dinner on the first night was awful: the pasta and chicken weren’t cooked properly, and dessert was awful too. The other two days weren’t bad.

I’ve been eating here for over a week, and the restaurant offers a different menu every day, with fish and/or meat. Every meal has been divine. The restaurant service deserves congratulations! The hotel is right on the seafront, and all the rooms face the sea. Staff friendliness is another big plus. I travel around Italy for work and stay in hotels all the time, and Hotel Argentina compares very well with many places of the same level. Of course, you have to judge a three-star hotel by a fair standard, not expect five-star rooms and services. I’ve found nothing negative here. I can’t understand some of those absurd reviews, which I suspect are false since the reviewers coincidentally have only one review. I recommend it to everyone! ✌️😀🤗👏👏✌️

The food was decent, especially for a school trip, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, though, and their dated furnishings make it feel like the 1970s.
